The Stevenson Bridge across the Forth between Causewayhead & Stirling is the location for major roadworks this summer. There is no access across the bridge from Causewayhead into Stirling, although northbound traffic will still use the bridge.
As a result, bus services that normally enter Stirling via the bridge will be diverted via Springkerse and Forthbank, but will maintain the normal route out of the city.
Exceptions are First services 51,52 & 53 will terminate / depart at Union Street.
Services 54/54A " Will operate to Stirling via Alloa Road & Forthside Way, also serving Easter Cornton Rd, Lomond Cres, Strathmore Dr, Voil Rd, Vorlich Pl, Ruskie Rd and Johnston Ave (as 51/52 do normally).
The UL service will be suspended.
The Stirling Council website has a full range of revised timetables at
http://www.stirling.gov.uk/index/services/roads/public_transport/causewayheadclosure.htm
In addition, buses serving Stirling University will be further diverted over the next two weeks as roadworks close both entrances to the campus for a week each.

Fuel forces bus cuts in Fife
Stagecoach is to scrap or alter dozens of services in Fife because of rising fuel prices.
The company has announced a major review of its routes across the area because of low passenger numbers and rising costs, primarily for diesel.
Details of which services face the axe have not been revealed but it is expected that most face some changes.
The Stirling-St.Andrews Service 23 faces slight timetable changes and will no longer serve Kinross Park'n'Ride, whilst Service 78 between Dunfermline & Falkirk will now serve Kincardine.
Express services from Fife to Glasgow and Edinburgh have slight timetable changes.
The changes are expected to begin 18 August.
